I was instructed my Bryci that I need to blog more. She’s right. I get busy with life and keep meaning to blog and then I forget to come in here. grrrrr
So the other day I wrote a blog on Chat room etiquette. I knew it’d ruffle a few feathers, but I was hoping it would more help the odd guy here or there. I could care less of Joe Macho gets his panties in a bunch, odds are he’s the kind of prick I’d ban from the chat room anyway for ordering a girl to do something. Meh, not going to miss him one bit.
I had a few people want me to make a list of basics to not say in a chat room. I guess these are common sense to most, but yes, a show doesn’t go by without seeing this a few times so it’s not common sense to all. This list was complied by other chat room guests, not by cam girls.
- Never say BB. BB is short for Baby and if you’re calling her baby, you are either missed that it’s 2009 and not 1950 and guys don’t call women “Baby” anymore… or you’re just plain slow. You decide.
- Never order a woman to do something. If you’ve ever known a girl other than your Mom, you know if you tell her to do something, she’s going to go in the opposite direction. Not only that, she’s going to be pissed at you that you ordered her to do something. I touched on this in my first blog on etiquette.
- Don’t admit that you’re a virgin if you are. That’s like putting a giant pity me sticker on your head. The other guys will most likely bug you about this for weeks, if not months to come every time you enter a cam show. It’s called thinning the pack, if they can downplay your value to the cam model, they will. It’s kind of pointless really, it’s not like you’re auditioning to see which of you gets to play with the cam model. Why lower your perceived value if you don’t have to?
- The way to a girl’s heart is not through dumb jokes. If you keep saying a model is NN when she in fact nude, thinking you’re being funny and playing with the ‘newbs’ in the chat room, all you’re doing is making yourself stand out as someone who thinks he gets it, but clearly does not. If the girl is asked if she is NN or N, let her answer. There, was that so hard?
When you’re not sure if it’s ok or not…. odds are it’s not. if you actually have to ask yourself if what you’re about to say is ok, odds are it’s not ok or you wouldn’t be asking yourself.
Remember, you are there to watch and enjoy, not make her life harder. =)
