I thought this was really, really honest…

I got an email this morning from a guy asking me if he can use any of the Bryci images as his desktop/wallpapers on his home computer.

He was honestly asking if we’d mind this. Just struck me as very, very honest. I don’t think I’ve ever wondered who owns this or that when I found a new wallpaper, have you? I’d never have thought to ask, I mean… my home system, why would anything matter?

Yup, I was surprised.

Most adult websites if not all are easy to rip. This means, you can mass download the shit out of them. Why would someone do this? Well, many reasons… maybe they just want a copy for themselves. Sometimes, it’s to trade with or post to trader forums. You know, people give online e-high fives and feel all manly about it.

Not all sites are as easy to rip as others, some webmasters actually know their job and can see this happening and take action or have script sin place to suspend the assclowns that try and go about this. What’s unfair, is stereotypes. In 12/13 years working with websites. When I see someone sign up form Sweden, Italy, Finland, France or Germany or Denmark… it seems like, no joke.. 1 in 2 of these people are assholes out to try and mass download the site. lol

I am sure there are decent people in these countries, it just seems the bad apples in those countries sign up for websites more than the good guys. Go figure.

I have a very simple policy on site ripping… if the server catches you, we’ll look into it further. If you are indeed guilty of it, we’ll terminate your account and keep your money. Thank you for being a fucktard and not reading the rules posted on the site, very plainly. Not my problem you were in too big a hurry than to read the words in front of you. Maybe they didn’t/don’t speak English? Meh, again, not my issue.

So… with this all said… I get this email 30 minutes ago…

God damn. Gotta love and respect honesty don’t ya?

I don’t yet know if Enrico was guilty or if it was a server mistake (generally never happens) but we’ll see. It made me laugh is all. If he was/is guilty his account will be removed. If it’s somehow a server error, I credit them with a free week.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying the sites I run can’t be mass downloaded. If someone wants a site bad enough, there are always ways right? I’m just saying we’re good at catching those that would wish to abuse the privileges of membership.

It depends what you’re trying to do in the industry.

The cold reality is that it doesn’t matter who you are, what you look like, you will not be hired by pretty much anyone. Exception being, if you look like a Greek god, body carved from granite. The truth is, women hold the power in this biz, guys are a dime a dozen. Easy to find, easier to replace.

My advice to you, don’t quite your day job.

If you want to do websites, photography etc, you don’t email someone asking how, you just do it. It’s not rocket science, it’s actually pretty damn easy. Practice, practice, practice.

Get camera.
Get model.
Photograph model.
Build website.
Market website.

Really, it is that simple. Even my dog has a website with hot little barely legal pups on it. No, seriously.
