Have you ever wished you knew Adobe Photoshop better? Maybe you wish you knew how to create a website yourself, or how to custom code something. Maybe you have an idea for an iPhone app like I did and you’re thinking… why can’t I do that?

Most people don’t move forward with their ideas or innovations because quite bluntly, they don’t know how to. Sure, you could go to some professional school and take a full course and that would definitely do what you need.. but the price is usually a little steep as well, right?

I had always heard about Lynda.com from magazines, and other websites but honestly, I had never checked it out until recently.

Holy shit.

The site has a monthly fee of $25 per month or you can buy an annual membership and save money if that is more to your liking. They cover every program I can think of, no joke. Each course is offered as part of your monthly fee, and each course is in video so you get to watch and follow along. Don’t get something, back the video up and watch again until you do. Seriously, it’s that easy.

I have a buddy that likes to use Sony Vegas as his video editor when making movies for online use. I myself use my Apple, so we use different programs but I wanted to show him how they can make him better so I took a screen grab showing the Sony Vegas course.

Remember, you don’t pay per course, you pay a flat monthly rate, all you can eat sort of thing. Take 1 course, take 50 course, whatever you have time to learn really. Stay one month or stay a year, again, your choice.

As you can see, this course is 8 hours, 48 minutes long and you will go from newb to knowledgeable in that time frame. They do this with every program you can think of. Hell, they even cover simple shit like facebook, gmail, wordpress blogging, you name it, they do it. They know that everyone online has different needs, so they try and cover everyone’s. No matter what your experience level is, these guys have got something for you to improve your game.

I honestly was trying to think of something they don’t cover, and no, I couldn’t find something other than old obscure programs that have been replaced with newer better versions anyway.

For Photoshop… OMFG they cover everything and then they cover some more. Seriously. Any person could subscribe to Lynda.com and become a photoshop god at retouching their photos or creating new things so fast it’s silly.

I wish I was making something for this glowing review of Lynda, but I’m not, I just found it to kick serious, serious ass and wanted to put you guys on to it. Bryci pointed it out to me after she had it pointed out to her. We both have subscriptions now.  They check for active connections so no, you can’t buy one and have two people use it at the same time… it’s like gmail… “you’ve been signed out of this account because this account is active on another computer” sort of thing. No worries though, these guys completely deserve the extra coin.

If there is any part of you that wants to quit your current job and better yourself so you can get a better job… here’s your chance. This site is *highly* suggested.

Bryci was featured inside Playboy’s website for a second time today, not the portfolio section.. don’t get your hopes up just yet. Playboy’s very own GirlWatcher had interviewed Bryci in the past, and now he posted a link to MY WEBSITE! (because of her though, no, my head isn’t swollen) with her Christmas set.

Today I start shooting Ava. It’s 7:15am as I type this, I woke early because my mouth was killing me. I had six teeth extracted yesterday, good times. I used to play hockey and well, any hockey player will tell ya, you lose a tooth here and there in doing so. heh. No worries, gotta get rid of the old before you can get dental implants put in etc. Painful? yes, worth it? HELL YES

Ava is expected to be here sometime after 9am, and we start shooting around 10am. My goal for each day of shooting is simple, 10 sets. The time we have to shoot per day should allow us to hit 15-20 sets easily, but if I aim for 10, I can get what I want and still stay inside the lines of quality over quantity. It’s colder out right now, so shooting outdoors isn’t as easy as it was say, a month back. Right now, it’s 7 degrees Celsius, or 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Buuurrrr. Models don’t like cold weather.

Last night, Ava made a guest appearance in Bryci’s cam show. The show was intended to be more of a meeting than it was anything else. Ava was of course a little shy, not knowing what to expect… but that’s ok, it went over great. Ava and Bryci had a boob comparison contest and the viewers voted on who has bigger boobs. Who do you think won?

You might be surprised to know… Ava did.

So today I took a big step. I started to get inked. Finally. I have been waiting years and I do mean years to get started. Before dating Bryci, I was unfortunately one of those guys that wanted to get inked but the girls I had dated didn’t like ink so i always told myself… meh, no big deal, I don‚’t need to get inked really.

Stupid Mistake. Before B and I started dating, I had decided that I was going to get inked, regardless of what my next gf thought. Fortunately, like in all things, Bryci stood right beside me and was excited for me.

So today, I started getting inked. basic ink work today, doing the line work and what not. I go back in the first week of October to continue, and start shading and filling in. I am so pumped. I love the way it looks, although I am sure some people are going to look at me different. Fuck them. Seriously. if you judge someone based on appearance… wow. thanks for letting me know everything I needed to know about you. Nobody wants to be friends with fake people. I‚’m no exception to that rule.
