Tempur Tempur

Last year we bought a Kingsdown mattress from Leon’s in Calgary.  First off, let me tell you.. Leon’s sucks balls. They do not support their customers for shit. We were unhappy with our mattress rather quickly, a near top of the line Kingsdown mattress and it was sagging. WTF. Leon’s was like, oh snap, that sucks. Cyaz!

Fuck Leon’s in the mouth. I will never buy from them again.

I will never buy Kingsdown either. I was told it’s a family run company and oh look, they stand behind their products etc. Yeah, whatever. The mattress has to be sagging 2 inches or something and ours has ruts in it. If Bryci lays on my side, she rolls inward. She is barely 100 pounds and her side has ruts as well. What? From a new mattress? Fuck Kingsdown.

So we were in the market for a new bed, and we turned our attention to Consumer Reports. They rated Temper Pedic as being the best mattress out there by far. So we said fuck it, here we go again…

The Tempur-Pedic is not memory foam, it’s made of a space age material called Tempur. It was created for Nasa to help with astronauts to avoid G-force on exit/re-entry of our atmosphere to the best extent possible and by fluke, they realized it could be used for mattresses. Boom, they’re in the mattress biz. 10 years strong and rated #1.

Yes, more pricey than say, a Sealy or a Kingsdown but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

It doesn’t come till next week, but holy shit are we excited.

lame ass infomercial ad but it still proves a point..

and then, this guy is a wealth of information. Not overly exciting but loads of info…

Tempur-Pedic used to have heat issues, as well as the occasion indent issue but these have been resolved in the past few years, with an industry leading 20 year warranty. So sure, you’re paying more but you spend close to have your life in bed, shouldn’t you be comfortable?

As I said, we’re stoked.
