Well.. this and the Audi R-8. I love the Nissan GT-R though, it’s seriously bad ass, not as sexy as the R8, but any car that can do 0-60 in 3.2 and run the Nurburgring in 7:29 is more than ok with me. Click for high res.

The GT-R will be available in North America in June/July if you’ve got deep pockets. This car is my wet dream, it’s also usually my current desktop. (see top right corner of page to see if it is right now).

The time of 7:29 is incredible in every way, to put that time in perspective… the Bugatti Veyron, a 1001 horsepower all wheel drive supercar, did the ‘ring in 7:40. The Veyron goes for one million dollars + if you can find one that is. The GT-R, $70,000. Not a bad deal hey?

Anyway, a lot of gear heads and Chevy fan boys that are pissed the GT-R is laying waste to their ZR-1 and pretty much every other North American car offered. they’re calling bullshit, saying the 7:29 isn’t real. Nissan has photos and video, although they haven’t released the video yet… but they will and we’ll have it when they do.
