Not to sound like to much of a surfer dude… but duuuuuuuude. Deadmau5 has killed it again with his new release 4×4=12. If you like his sound, you need to pick this shit up.

I remember watching Tommy Lee banging the drums in his drum cage, strapped in, harness and all as his drum cage lifted out and above the stage. I was watching Motley Crue in concert on the Girls Girls Girls tour. I was young, it was one of my first concerts.

Wow. I was floored. The concert was mind blowing for me, I’d never seen anything remotely like it. This sure beat the shit out of superheroes.  Vince was his game, Mick was thumpin his bass, Nikki Sixx was banging his head as he rocked the fuck out and Tommy was… well, Tommy fucking Lee.

Tommy Lee is what rock was all about. They don’t build rock groups like Motley Crue anymore. I wish to fuck they did, but they don’t. What do we have now? Muse? Muse is incredible, but Motley Crue they are not.

I guess this morning I am feeling some nostalgia for the rock bands of yesteryear. Anthrax, Metallica before Lars became a pussy, GnR when Axel had his voice/game, you know… the classics.

Alright, off to get ready for a shoot with a goddess. Will blog more later… mind is all over the place right now, static… lots to do, what do I need to do? lots to do… you know those days? ack.

I love rock. I love rock a great deal but sometimes, you need something with a crazy upbeat tempo. Classic rock is the bomb, and I like everything from punk through to yes, country. I don’t hate on anyone, well, other than that auto tune sounding shit. Trance/house comes in handy when you’re cleaning or working out or whatever. I don’t listen to a lot of trance but I have immense respect for anybody that gets up there and performs regardless of what you’re into. This shit takes skillz too.
