You ever use Google Maps? I do, for everything. I go to http://maps.google.com and I enter the city I live in. For example… Phoenix, Arizona being that is where I am right now. Then in the top right corner… there is this little link called LINK. If you click that, it opens this little window up. I then copy the url, and paste it into my browser window. It basically reloads exactly where I am, but with the city/location embedded into the url, rather than having to type it in each time. I then create a bookmark of this.

Then, when I need a phone number of a local business, or directions on where to get something. where to eat, how to get somewhere fast, I click the bookmark and it’s like having it all at my finger tips, easy peasy. (click thumb to see larger version)

Anyway.. one of the options with google maps is a system they created called google reviews. This is amazing. You can review businesses, restaurants, clubs, stores, whatever… as well as read other reviews. It’s great to check things out, before you go there. See if it’s worth your time etc.

Because I made this bookmark (that has the city/location embedded already thx to steps above) I don’t have to type in the city anymore, I can just type in the store, Example, a Mexican restaurant I love lately.. Garcia’s

Have you ever heard of the tv series “Pawn Stars”? Holy shit, this show is amazing. 30 minutes per episode and always interesting. It’s on the history channel which you’d think… wait… what? about.. but seriously, watch this show.

Big Hoss, Rick and Rick’s Dad (they call him Old Man) are the stars of the show along with Chum Lee, they run a Las Vegas pawn shop. This has quickly become one of our favorite shows.

The shop itself, Gold and Silver Pawn Shop (it’s official name)is located on Las Vegas BLVD S near Garces Ave. (google maps link). This is the current top rated show on cable believe it or not according to Nielson ratings. Yes, it’s that good.
